Yesterday, we had a wonderful field trip at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.
Learning about water life in Georgia
Whooo is that?
They were quite intrigued by the snake.
Mr. Tom taught us about beavers and their habitats.
Ms. April taught us about the trading program at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.
There was so much neat stuff to see!
We even got a close up view with this great microscope.
Sweet friends having fun!
Prefirst was thrilled to see a bald eagle!
They affectionately called her, "The Heiskell Eagle".
Our naturalist, Miss Ingrid, brought an albino corn snake for us to see.
We even got to feel her smooth snakeskin!
Prefirst students are so brave!
A group gathering before our hike in the woods.
It was so neat to see how God's creation works together.
We even had a chance to do our own investigating.
My little nature detectives
Miss Ingrid pointed out the work of some beavers in the water.
Miss Ingrid taught us a neat little way to remember what wildlife needs to survive.
Water, Air, Food, Habitat
The boys had a couple of surprise guests just before lunch.
It was a great day!
