Some Memories Just Stay with Us...

As a school community, Dads have a golden opportunity to fellowship with their sons in midst of God's amazing creation. You may have seen some flyers going home in red folders that have photos of hiking, rope climbing, and riflery at the top. Those photos are just a FEW snapshots of the memories that Dads have an opportunity to make with their sons.

I can recall having special times with my Daddy that I remember as though they happened yesterday. One particular memory that comes to mind is a football game that I attended with him. Yes...I am a girl who loves football! He took me to the Liberty Bowl on a blistery fall evening to see the Memphis State Tigers (now the University of Memphis) play. We had a ball! He'd put me up on his shoulders whenever they scored a touchdown, so I could cheer. That was one of many outings that Daddy and I enjoyed, and still enjoy to this day. His taking the time to for us to have special moments together was/is priceless, and something I still cherish as an adult. Don't let this precious  moment pass you by. Think of it as a gift that Dads and sons can always treasure.
